The Colton Family

untitled (88 of 111)

The Colton Family, Vicky, Gerard, Amy and Miss Ella who really worked the camera!

Arrived and started to setup my mobile studio, and NO, I forgot the train (the white vinyl for the floor), but thankfully Vicky came to the rescue with a quilt, a little more editing was needed but it saved me a run home – won’t do that again in a hurry. Most people when having a photo taken shout “CHEEEESSSEE”, or as my kids say “MONKEEEEEYS” Miss Ella says something completely different, if you want to know what it is ask her Mum or Dad.

Once the indoor shoot was done, we moved outside and to my delight there was a field full of buttercups at the side of their house. A field of buttercups, how could any photographer resist that – have to say there were probably a few wet bums by the time we were finished.

Anyway, enough of the chitter chatter – here’s a few of what we got.

Leona, Philip and their Beautiful Girls

Leona & Family (76 of 89)

We started with a studio shoot in Leona and Philips home and since we were only a mile or so away from Tullaghan Strand, Bundoran, it would have been a shame not to go for a little walk whilst I was there.  So glad we did go for that walk as I got some beautiful natural shots of them all just “doing their thing” as a family.  You’ll also notice a few pics in there of the “COWS”, Philip insisted on a few pictures of them, as Leona says “well, he spends more time with them than us”.

Baby Ben

Meet Baby Ben at 3 weeks old, together with his proud parents Cathy and John.  I had the pleasure of spending yesterday morning in Bundoran, Co Donegal, photographing this wonderful family.  Such a gorgeous little baby, it’s on days like this that I really do think I have the best job in the world.  When I got home after picking my two little rascals up from Nursery, I decided I would edit one or two to send to Cathy – once I started I just couldn’t stop – hope you enjoy them.

Jack & Molly

On a cold, but sunny day in April, we headed off to Rosnowlagh Beach located just outside Ballyshannon in County Donegal.  The cold doesn’t seem to bother kids too much – its the simple things in life that entertain them.  They gathered shells and stones in their little watering cans, raced along the beach and threw sand at each other,  not a care in the world.

Sharon & Allan – Baby Bump

I had the pleasure of doing a Bump Shoot for Sharon & Allan Kelly a while back.  What a fabulous keepsake to have!  I have heard so many mums say that they don’t feel they look good during their pregnancy, NO NO NO – this is when you are looking your best, blooming as they say.  I personally wish I had more photos of my pregnancies.  These would look fabulous in a photobook together with your Newborn Baby Shoot.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy Sharon, I look forward to meeting the little one.

The Gilmour Girls

Met up with Leanne and her family at Castle Archdale one morning early in March, it was a little bit chilly, but better than being stuck indoors for a photo shoot (especially when there are children involved). It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, you can always be guaranteed nice photos at Castle Archdale.

Julie and her Boys

Done this shoot with Julie and her two fabulous boys Calum and Coan. Didn’t think we were going to get any photos of Coan as he certainly didn’t like the camera, but we persisted and hey presto, isn’t he the cutest little 4 year old ever! And of course it goes without saying that Calum is an absolute STUNNER! And what a fabulous Yummy Mummy Julie is!
